Jaggggg April 11, 2010 at 20:14:17 Specs: Windows XP
I left my computer on one day and came home to a black screen with "error" on it. My computer was non-responsive after rebooting. I ran an F9 diagnostic and it said the hard drive was shot. I took it to a computer store and they confirmed. Put in a new hard drive and began installing Windows XP Home edition and part way into "loading files" I get a blue screen that says "a problem has been detected and windows has been shut down to prevent further damage to your computer. Check for viruses" It can't have viruses because it is a brand new hard drive. Not sure what is going on.
