Your laptop should be fairly new. Are you saying the cooling fan burned out already?

Sounds like the OP wants an answer, for some reason, and doesn't own the unit.

I would have to say that there is a processor fan included.

Why does this matter?

If you do own this laptop and don't hear a fan that is because laptops make every attempt to conserve energy. So, if passive cooling is enough for the task you are performing then the fan will not run, or may run at lower speeds.

what i meant is that i am looking to buy this laptop, but i don't know that it has a fan that takes in air instead of sucking it up like my Compaq V5105US laptop's vent, blowing hot air and pretending to suck in cool air. even when i'm using low-ram programs like internet explorer, windows explorer, microsoft office 2003 programs my laptop kept on overheating, desptie putting a targus chillmat usb external fan to cool it down. that was not the case with my hp nc2000 series laptop because it had a fan to take in cooling air and never overheated. now that those two laptops are now donated (don't worry, they dont't have my hard drives), I want to find a laptop that has a fan like my nc2000 laptop, but i cant find any images on the internet that can give me any of my prospective laptop from any angle. please can someone tell me that it has a intake fan of some sort?

All fans blow on the CPU to cool it. How the air is ducted is a matter of design.

Laptops are not really designed to run at full power all the time. Doing so will cause overheating.

Your previous problems may have been caused by dirt/dust in the system impeding the cooling system.

Don't you have any retail outlets near you that you can try out that model laptop?
