Specs: Windows XP, pentium 4 2.26 pros
please help! my windows has corrupted and i want to install a new and fresh copy of windows. when i insert windows cd in cdrom and boot from cd it works good and after the copying files portion i.e when computer should be restart it shows an error "your system has been damaged" so please help me what should i do?

You should test the drive and do a low level format. Then repartition and retry installation.

Repartition will remove all of my data but i do not want to lose any of my data. I have a lot of data on my hard drive. can you give me another solution?

I think the drive is damaged. You need to back up the data. Any successful repair would involve rewriting parts of the disk.
