Solved Error message 2000-0146 on Dell latitude D531

Specs: Windows XP
I accidentally dropped my Dell Latitude D531 laptop on the floor. After attempting to restart the computer, it loads to the windows XP startup screen before it restarts. It will do this until I cut the power. After running diagnostics, I got the error message 2000-0146, which implies that there is something wrong with the hardrive. When I attempted to switch with another hard drive I got the same error message, also the hard drive booted as usual on another computer. This leads me to believe that there is something else that could be wrong. Do you guys have any suggestions as to what could cause the problem, any help is appreciated.

"I accidentally dropped my Dell Latitude D531 laptop on the floor."

Dropping a laptop often results in something getting damaged inside the laptop.

Take it to a local laptop repair place that is autourized to work on Dell computers and have them analyze it.

Damage caused by dropping it is NOT covered by it's warranty even if it's still in effect, unless you bought additional warranty coverage that covers accidental damage, when you bought the computer, or within a short time (e.g. 60 days) after you bought it.
