|Glad you fixed it. To avoid it happenning you must use your printer every day, even if it's just to print something small (like a block graph) which uses a bit of each colour. That will ensure that fresh ink is always in the printhead nozzles so it won't dry out and turn to paste.|
Epson printers are particularly prone to ink blockage because of the minute size of the nozzles, so it's important to use your Epson printer every day as suggested above.
When the time comes to replace your printer, consider replacing it with a Canon printer. They do not block up as easily yet their output is every bit as good as an Epson. I should know, I used to have an Epson, now I have a Canon. I print a lot of photographs and demand top quality output. Canon gives me that, but without the blockage headaches that my Epson gave me.
