enable vt help inspiron 1520

Specs: Windows 7
i have a dell inspiron 1520 running windows 7 RC (but the fact that im running windows 7 rc is pretty irrelevent). i need help enabeling VT (vitualization technolgy in my systems BIOS.

my current BIOS is A09 (mose current bios for the inspiron 1520)
Problem: Enabeling VT, no option to enable this is shown.

I need help if someone could provide some sort of remedy for this, im trying to get windows xp mode to work, but i need to enable VT first.

Another question you might ask to me... if my CPU aplicitible for using VT. anwser is yes i just need to find a way to anable it.

Computer specs:
Processer: intel pentiusm dual core (cpu t2310)
1.46 GHz
32 bit
A09 BIOS
Windows 7 rc


HELP ME PLEASE

I need help enabeling VT ON MY COMPUTER !!!!!!!!!!! bios does not provide a tab thing to enable it

You need a newer system.

"Best Practices", Event viewer, host file, perfmon, antivirus, anti-spyware, Live CD's, backups, are in my top 10

Why do you need VT? You can run VM without it.

Sorry, I didn't read the whole thing...I guess you got go with jefro's answer - "You need a newer system."

My question to you is why are you running Win7 as your primary OS? If anything, you should be running XP as the primary & Win7 as a VM.

But you can run a good Virtual Machine anyway. See VirtualPC or Virtualbox or even qemu/bochs.

VT is not needed unless you want to run the xp pack to be offered for W7 or other vt features.
