How do I change my Video Adapter card when the T2882 does not have one? Computer wont Boot Up but it will Power On. Push the Power Button and system powers on > Then Shuts itself OFF > Then comes back on and BEEPS are heard [series of 4 beeps in this Pattern: Beep>BeepBeepBeep > BeepBeepBeep > Beep] >Then the Fans keep running BUT then only a Black Monitor Screen with pop-up window stating: Monitor is working/Self Test/Check Your PC and Cable

Is the first beep a long one?

Be-e-e-e-e-p (then) beep,beep,beep?

Then its 1 long and three short. That's a memory failure for AMI bios:

Or are they all about the same? As in 1-3-3-1 sequence?

That's a '28 autosize dram' (whatever that is) for a phoenix bios.

I'm not sure which bios you have. But as already mentioned a video card probably won't fix it.

There may be more info in your emachine manual, if you have it. I checked on their site but it was worthless.

You're not really green until you're soylent green.
