emachine shuts down after 4-5 minutes

Specs: Windows 7
Actually posting this to help others. My son's emachine shut down in 4-5 minutes after boot up. I opened it to get the power supply #'s only to discover the cpu fan vents were clogged with dust. After vacuuming out the dust it has run fine. Sometimes it's a simple solution and cheap...

You're very lucky you didn't fry the system. For future reference, NEVER use a vacuum on electronic components due to the possibility of electro-static discharge. Instead, use compressed air to blow the dust out or the heatsinks & fans. You can then vacuum the dust off the floor.
