DVD-RAM will not play DVD

Specs: Windows XP
When I try to play a DVD using CyberLink Power DVD, the error message is "No disc in drive D." When I try to play it from Run, it cannot see anything in the DVD player.

uninstall and reload your cyberlink power DVD, sounds like a file or something in the registry has gotten corrupted.

Does My Computer recognize a DVD is in the drive? Try different ones. If not, it's not your player software.
