It's about 95% full. It's digressing daily. Now when I plug it in it's lost the drive volume name I had set, and I cannot access the data on the drive. The drive has not been dropped/damaged, i'm at a loss. I've had SO many problems w/ harddrives (all not even a year old yet) lately and it's getting rediculous.
Anyway, I ran the Wester Digital Data Lifeguard Diagnostics on it, and it finds the model number, couldn't find serial number, and SMART Status says unavailable. i'm running the quick test now from WD diag tools and will post results when it's finished. It's saying it has about 8 hours left.
Any insight / point in the right direction on anything that could help repair this drive would be greatly appreciated. I'm hard headed and have put off backups YET again even though i've been burned before. Staying too busy and hard-headedness can do that to you I suppose.
