Trancend / Jf v30

Specs: Windows XP, pentium 4. 1gb
I have a 4 GB flash drive, I was using it noemally and all was OK.
Then I started to get messages that it was right protected and I could no longer delete any of the photos on it.
I tried formatting it to no avail
I can add and copy but cannot delete
I definitely did not protected it in any way
Can someone tell me how to clear it so I can use it again as it is nearly full/
Thank you.

if you can download this and create a bootable cd:
http://distrowatch.com/?newsid=05212

then boot the cd, delete the partition, recreate it and format.
I prefer fat32.
DONT format you computers hard drive by mistake.

Some flash drives have a tiny switch on them that enables/disables deletion protection.
Look for that on yours.
