There is no guaranty that it will work properly unless they are able to specifically tell you that it will work with your power supply (assuming you own it already).
I would recommend purchasing one of these:

instead. They are better power supplies and you can be sure of them, plus the new warranty is a plus. The lower priced non-modular is not really that much more than the cable is going to cost you and the others are not that much more.

You have to be a little bit crazy to keep you from going insane.

I sure hope you didn't pay $310 for a $40 PSU. Did you not get the 8-pin PCIe cable with it? You might be able to request the cable from Rosewill: http://www.rosewill.com/spare-part-...

Look closely at the ends of the plugs/connectors. You will see some are square & some have angled corners. They will obviously have to match up. https://www.newegg.com/Product/Prod...

Here's some info about Rosewill PSUs. The one you have was made by ATNG.

Just to add, the only thing modular & semi-modular PSUs have going for them is better cable management. Other than that, they are generally more expensive than non-modular because of all the added plugs & connectors. The biggest downside is that each connector adds a potential failure point. There's also the potential to misplace cables. :-) I suggest non-modular.
