Solved does this power supply have standard pinout for this cable?

Specs: Windows 10
Hey guys i have a Rosewill arc-m550 semi modular PSU and i do not have the 8 pin to pcie 6+2 pin and im not good with pin layouts. the cable states that it is a standard pinout but is the PSU?

There is no guaranty that it will work properly unless they are able to specifically tell you that it will work with your power supply (assuming you own it already).
I would recommend purchasing one of these:
instead. They are better power supplies and you can be sure of them, plus the new warranty is a plus. The lower priced non-modular is not really that much more than the cable is going to cost you and the others are not that much more.

You have to be a little bit crazy to keep you from going insane.

I sure hope you didn't pay $310 for a $40 PSU. Did you not get the 8-pin PCIe cable with it? You might be able to request the cable from Rosewill:

Look closely at the ends of the plugs/connectors. You will see some are square & some have angled corners. They will obviously have to match up.

Here's some info about Rosewill PSUs. The one you have was made by ATNG.

Just to add, the only thing modular & semi-modular PSUs have going for them is better cable management. Other than that, they are generally more expensive than non-modular because of all the added plugs & connectors. The biggest downside is that each connector adds a potential failure point. There's also the potential to misplace cables. :-) I suggest non-modular.
