Does this Intel mobo support booting from USB

Specs: Windows 7, 512MB
i have intel d915glvg desktop board, i want to install xp over pre installed windows 7. does this chipset support usb boot, if yes how do i enable it. i never updated my bios set up....and don't even want to.

So what is the point of asking?
To use that capability if it was supported would require you to change your BIOS setting to put USB ahead in the boot order.

Looking at your motherboard manual:
It does NOT support booting from USB. So it is a moot point anyway.

When everything else fails, read the instructions.

If you only have 512RAM, why did you install Win7 in the 1st place? 1GB RAM is the minumum & even that's not enough for decent performance. XP doesnt even run all that well with just 512MB. Why don't you install XP the old fashioned way - off a CD?
