Hello! I'm curently building my first pc and have made some research. i am planing to throw a GV-N760OC-4GD videocard into an Asus Sabertooth 990FX R2.0 but it only suports PCIe 2.0. I've heard that it should not make a big difference but does that only work with the newest motherboards or videocards?

"In August 2007, PCI-SIG announced that PCI Express 3.0 would carry a bit rate of 8 gigatransfers per second (GT/s), and that it would be backward compatible with existing PCIe implementations."
