Specs: Windows 7, Intel Core 2 Duo/ 4GB
I am working on a HP Pavilion Dv6-1355dx Laptop that has Water Damage in the LCD. The LCD is dark and grainy hard to see. According to what I have read online that the LCD problem is because a bad display inverter, opened up the Laptop no display inverter. Only board I could find is on the LCD, so I will replace LCD. Another question when looking for a LCD it has a Part # B156XW02 V.0; I am able to find a B156XW02 V.2 or V.6 not a B156XW02 V.0 does that make any difference? Appreciate any info. you have!!!

✔ Best Answer
It depends whether the display is lit by a CCFL or LEDs

New monitors have LED lights which work of DC so no inverter required.
