Hello!

I've been trying to find a way to disable ACPI in the BIOS Phoenix SecureCore Setup Utility.
System BIOS version: v0.3204
VGA BIOS version: Poulsko 0016

In the manual that I've found here http://www.vistax64.com/attachments... it is said that you have to access the INTEL menu but it isn't there on my BIOS. I have all the menu tabs except the "Intel" one.

How do I disable ACPI then if I don't have access to this "Intel" menu?

Do you have any power management options in the bios? Why do you want to disable it anyway?

There is no reason to disable acpi in bios. Just don't use it in the OS and it will not work.

Hang up and live.

It is enabled on default. And disabling ACPI will fix a graphical bug that is being caused by it.

Use command line option noacpi at grub boot.

Hang up and live.
