Click on the Vista (Start) icon bottom left on the main desktop screen - select Control Panel - the Mouse icon.
If you don't see the Mouse icon, change the setting on the left side of the Control Panel screen to Classic view

Some mice have additional software available that you can install to yield more things you can set or adjust there. E.g. Microsoft mice have Intellipoint or similar, Logitech mice have a similar program.

Thanks KWB. I am looking at having different acceleration for X than Y. The control panel mouse settings change both the same. Any additional feedback.
