Solved difference between PCs powered by AMD & Intel chips (Post 2)

Specs: Windows Vista
I still can't decide on a computer and just want to know the difference between these two AMD and Intel processors

4.2GHz AMD, FX 6350 Fast Six 6-Core Vishera Processor

Intel Core i7-3770 4x 3.40GHz

I want a computer that can render quickly and run programs like Autodesk Maya smoothly, everybody is saying go for the inteli7 and I want to but the computer I want to buy which has an i7 is from Germany and I am scared if on startup some of the program names, etc are in German and I can't change it, however the price is really good. It comes with no monitor, onboard internet and the power plug is european so I have to buy it separately.

On the other hand this computer with the 4.2GHz AMD, FX 6350 Fast Six 6-Core Vishera Processor comes with everything including monitor, keyboard, speakers and mouse

Which one would suit my needs better?

What is the difference between these two processors and computers? Is there a big difference?

If I rendered something on Maya I'm guessing the i7 would render faster but how fast?

Also which video graphics card is better? Does video graphics increase rendering speed

Which one shall I buy please I need help I can't decide

Is this a followup to your other thread which it appears you never went back to?

I suggest you check the requirements for Autodesk Maya, especially the graphics:

Thanks but I decided to buy neither, instead I will use pc specialist to select the components I want accordingly

But what you posted was really useful, thanks.

After research I think intel is the better option

I think that Intel is a better option in your price range. AMD is an option where money is really tighter in the lower price ranges and can mean the difference between being able to afford a decent graphics card and using stock graphics.
Good luck.

You have to be a little bit crazy to keep you from going insane.
