Specs: Windows 7
Got a dell xps 8300. But the case is just darn ugly. wanna change the computer case with a Cooler Master HAF 932. The new case also has some fans in it so i get some noise reduction. cus it is really noisy atm. Is this possible?.

The Dell case appears to be an ATX case so you should be able to swap out the innards. I think you MIGHT have to sort out the case to board wiring. Dell may be using a propitiatory connector. You intend to swap out the power supply also?

For what it is worth I don't think the Dell case is ugly. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

Talk about ugly cases, the Cooler Master HAF 932 is friggin hideous.

Not matter how you package it, it's still a Dell. Save your money & invest it in something that matters, in other words, NOT on an ugly overpriced case with bottom mounted power supply & poorly configured cooling fans.

"its about space too"

Space for what? Your RAM upgrade?

There are plenty of decent ATX cases available that cost a hell of a lot less, aren't as ugly as sin, & don't have poorly placed fans or the power supply mounted at the bottom.

I didn't bother to Google for the case you want to swap to. riider is right about all points. First off, bottom mount is NG. Second, the cheapest price is over a hundred dollars. Third, IMHO the replacement case is the ugly one, not the other way around.

If you want space then buy a FULL tower case.
