I have a Dell optiplex 755. For the last 2 weeks it has turned itself on at 2:48am. I have gone into the bios and it was set to turn on so I would turn that off 3 days later it has done the same thing and the bios was set to turn the computer back on again. So I reinstalled my OS thinking I had a virus, well last night it done the same thing again so what is doing this?
BIOS settings are not normally related to anything happening in the operating system. Which part of the BIOS settings did you alter to stop it turning on? Is it the "if power is interrupted" setting or is it the Wake-on **** setting?
