Hi recently picked up a dell D620 for next to nothing. Expecting some issues it wasn't long before I found 1 or 2

Firstly the WiFi is set up to auto connect on start up for 95% of the time it doesn't. The WiFi switch on the side of the unit doesn't make any difference. I usually find a simple restart solves the problem.

Secondly, the underside of the unit gets quite hot, making it quite uncomfortable to have the unit on my lap. I can't hear any fans running. But have also read that it can just simply be a build up of dust that's causing a blockage in thr airflow

Also, even though it is called a laptop, if the air vent is on the bottom of the laptop, it should be used on a firm surface.

Is the wifi still giving problems after cleaning out the dust?
