Either you have a Memory Module lose or your CPU is over heating.

Is the CPU fan on the bottom coming on? Try blowing it out with Canned Air.

Try checking the memory SODIMs to make sure they are in and secure.

Are you running off the battery, or using A/C power?

"The battery is dead. I'm using AC power"

I think you just answered why your computer will not turn on. Your power pack has more than likely failed and it is trying to boot off of your dead battery.
