Specs: Windows XP
Hello I have a dell inspiron b-120 and my 2 year old knocked it off my desk.at the time it kept working and i assume it was working off of the battery.it was plugged in when it fell.I left and came back to it I tried to power it up and it came on for a few seconds and then turned off.I removed the battery and tried to power it up by the A/C cord only and got nothing.Next I put the battery in and unplugged the A/C power and it came on for a few seconds and shut down.Lastly I tried to power it up with the battery in and the A/C power plugged in and it did the same as without the A/C power supply,so then i left the A/C power plugged in to try and charge the battery and it didnt work.I am thinking when it fell it broke the A/C power imput to the laptop. It fell on its back where it was plugged in so I tcould have pushed the imput into the laptop too far to make a solid connection or could have broke the connection completely.Any help would be great.Sorry if I over stated everything but wanted to be clear on what happend so we can avoid wild goose chases. Thanks in advance,John

Not all is there, but the disassembly instructions are. Base plactics is the section for replacing the broken shell parts.
