Specs: Windows Vista, Celeron
The bios is passworded and I don't know the password. I would like to remove the password and install an new operating system. Is there a simple way to remove the password?

Got it at a garage sale it was one of the owners kids who moved out and nobody new the password.

A BIOS password on a laptop is a security measure to combat theft. It is very difficult to remove. If it was easily removed it wouldn't be of much value.

Flashing the BIOS will not remove the password.
