Try a new signal cable (the cable that connects the monitor to the PC).
If that doesn't help, try the monitor on a different PC, and if it doesn't work there either, you need a new monitor.

Hi,

Kindly follow the below mentioned steps which could help in isolating the issue:

•Go to BIOS and confirm if there is video.

•Reseat monitor cable (VGA/DVI/HDMI) and check the input signal mode in Monitor OSD.

•Swap monitor power cable with the tower. If works, Replace “Power Cable” only. Else, drain flea power, Remove any 3rd party peripherals and power cord from your Desktop, press and hold the power button for 20 seconds to discharge any residual current inside the desktop.

•Press Monitor power button to check LED Status. If the Monitor power button LED does not come on, “Replace Monitor only”.

Thanks & Regards

Hi,

The solid Yellow indicates the power supply is functioning, but the system is not processing data. This could be the hardware failure of Power Cord, System Board, and I/O Panel. If your system is under warranty, send me the Service Tag and your contact number in the Private Message. Kindly do not post Service Tag in open forum.

Thanks & Regards

On a Dell. a yellow light on the power switch indicates a failed power supply.
