Hi all can you help with this one, I picked up a cheap Dell dimension 2400 that has had it's Dell volume wiped from the Partition so there is no Recovery Partition I don't have a Recovery disk and I want to put it back to it's original state, how do I do this, Thanks Nick
If it has a working copy of XP on it now and all the drivers are installed and up to date, then you're probably better off. Dell comes through with bloatware and all the dell support software, but you don't need that stuff. Is the machine up and running?
Thanks or the fast reply , I did this, however after the install I got a duel boot screen that asks which XP install to use, it give me two as though I installed twice, I thought this may be some thing to do with loosing the extra Partition and the MBR looking for it, is the a possibility.
