Solved Dell desktop Computer Beep Problem

Specs: Windows 7, Core 2 Duo / 8 gigs
Hi, I am having a problem with my dell desktop. It keep beeping. I don't know what the beep means. The desktop beep short beeps every second or two, I think. http://telly.com/KBV78N. Service Tag is F8Z06J1.

If you don't have the Setup Guide for your model you can download it here:

Click on 'Manuals and Documentation' if the link doesn't go directly there and download the Setup Guide. The beep codes will be on page 29. See which code seems to match what you've got.

I don't know. My dad gave his friend the desktop to fix it. When the desktop came home, my dad said that the memory was loose.

Memory problems usually will have a distinctive beep code and a loose stick could cause that. If it's working OK now then I guess that was an easy fix.
