Solved Dell D610 I already removed my hdd why still still harddrive

Specs: Linux i686
I have dell D610 laptop the first error message hdd soft error after that it becomes hdd hard error the bios cant recognized my working hdd ;I tried to removed my hdd why still have messge hdd hard error there is no hdd already?

Could be a spent hard drive. You can make a bootable cd from the iso file downloaded at seagate. Boot to the cd you created when you start up the computer, it will load the seatools menu and do a basic test if it passes do an extended test. see how that goes.
You will need Seatool for dos, to make the disk not the windows one.

Hello thanks for the reply, I already do that but no detected hdd to test maybe my laptop motherboard have the problem but still I can used my laptop in usb hdd enclosure I installed BT5, Im just want to try if still have a chanced to used my laptop without hdd enclosure.

Maybe the controller for the hard drive has gone or the sata controller in the bios has been changed to an incorrect setting. The little circuit board on the underside of the hard drive often is the problem and when it fails the drive is not detected. You would need to try a known good hd and see if it is detected, if it is not detected then it is either the controller for the hd on the motherboard itself or again the bios setting is not correct for the type of hd. Check the sata controller setting in the bios. Try another hd if possible.
