Deleting my printer and letting computer add it back worked

Specs: Android
Thanks. Deleting printer and letting computer find it again, worked. Where nothing else did. I tried everything to eliminate the "port in use. Please wait" error message.

I can't find the post. I had a Canon Pixma IP4600 that was getting the "port in use. Please wait" error message. I tried everything to fix the problem. I finally found a message somewhere in the blog that said to delete the printer and let the computer find and install the printer again. I did, and it worked. I noticed that the port changed from port 2 to port 1 after all was done. The printer works fine now.
