decent graphics card for crisis

Specs: Windows XP and vista
okay here my problem i cant decide which graphic card to buy for my pc right now i have a geforce 7100 which is crappy but can play farcry on high tht rocks! and its only 128mb vram . My pc specs have 2 gigs of ram ,windows xp and vista (dual boot for gaming on xp) 2.40 ghz core 2 duo and a pci express slot just wanted to know a good gfx card which will run crisis on atleast 20 fps its a hp a6450in btw i was looking at the 9800gt with 512 mb vram ddr3 also just wanted to ask if 512 mb ddr3 is better or 1gig ddr2? also how much better is the 9400 gt vs 9600gt vs 9500gt vs 9800gt obviously 9800gt is the best also the most expensive but how nuch difference will there be from the 9800gt and the 9400gt in terms of frame per second and also suggest me from only nvidia cause ati is realy expensive in my country im looking for A DECENT CARD not a high end one but can play crisis on medium settings thanks alot if u answer

512MB vs 1GB means nothing....GDDR3 is always better than GDDR2.

The 9400GT & 9500GT should not even be considered. The 9600GT should be considered the minimum. With any gaming card, you will need a decent power supply with a 6-pin PCIe plug. Higher end cards require two 6-pin plugs & *some* require a 6-pin + 8-pin. I doubt your HP unit will be able to handle the load.
