ddr 800

Specs: Linux i686
this is going to make me sound like an idiot but...
i'm building a computer and i accidently baught the wrong motherboard.
it can only hold ddr 800 ram
that doesnt seem to exist
does it mean ddr 2 800
or ddr (something else)
if there is ddr 800 ram tell me please cos i cant find it.

There is no such thing as DDR800, but there is DDR2-800. Post the make/model of your motherboard.

Not a very good board. It's a plain AM2 rather than AM2+, the onboard graphics suck, it only has 2 RAM slots supporting a max of 2GB (1GB per slot), & it has plenty of other things going against it. I hope it was extremely cheap.
