Custom-built Vista PC wont start no beep

Specs: Windows Vista
I have just installed a new motherboard and cpu and ram but the computer wont start it gets to the stage where it asks for the install disk for the motherboard press any key to continue but my keyboard wont respond then it attemps to start normally. goes to the screen start up was interupted select start up eg safe mode then counts down and cycles through again

I have a gigabyte g41m- Combo m/board a pentium e5400 cpu with corsair ddr2 cm2x2048-6400c5 ram

any ideas

Do you have all the cables from your power supply connected? Sounds like you missed the second plug and are not getting enough power to the motherboard.

Yes i have all cables connected checked that many times.

Check and mad make sure all the cables are connected correctly, the ram is seated properly and the cards are all the way in their slots.

Also possible that you have a bad board.
