Solved creating & arranging dektops not working ccc

Specs: Windows 7, Intel i5 3.1GHz/ 4G DDR3
I am trying to extend my desktop over two monitors. When going into desktop management in the catalyst control center to set up a group of monitors, only one monitor shows on the main palette. However, in the detection area just below the main palette, two monitors are shown with only 1 numbered as number 1. When clicking on the black arrow on the only monitor (numbered as number 1) on the main palette and then on "create group", nothing happens. It appears to me that something could be missing from the software, however I have loaded the most recent version from the AMD website. I use windows 7 ultimate and a AMD Radeon HD 6670 graphics card. The latest software update I could find is version 11.6. What am I to do to get these monitors working?

I have had several people looking at this over the past week and no-one could make sense of this. I have also replaced the graphics card with a brand new one. The monitors are both operating as I am able to switch between the two monitors and I have also loaded the most recent drivers for the monitors.

✔ Best Answer
In CCC Advanced Settings (not Basic Settings) you should be able to choose which Monitor is Primary and which is Secondary, do you have that Option ??

Are you referring to "standard and advanced view" options? If so, yes I am set for the advanced view. However, when I open up the "Desktop Management" tab and select the "creating and arranging desktops" option, only 1 monitor is displayed in the main palette, labeled as number 1. In the detection area below this palette, it is showing 2 monitors with only number 1 numbered.
