Solved Crackling on playing streaming videos

Specs: Windows 7, i7-860/4GB Crucial
I'm experiencing the same crackling/sound distortion on playing some streaming videos, be them with music or just plain talk, as matchey who posted about this last year. This happens on my Sennheiser PC360 headphones that I had bought 6 months ago. I have been using them almost everyday for a few hours, except in august. So they have had a 30 days break give or take. Before august I had no problems with them, but from the beginning of september when I have started using them again there is this crackling present, that I cant seem to hear when listening to mp3 from my PC, only online streaming stuff. I have heard and read about this "burn-in" time that new headphones must "suffer" before they achieve best sound. So...they had burned in and now they sound worse? Some people said that at one point during burn-in process they might sound worse than at the beginning. could this be it? I tried with a different cheaper pair of headphones and they are good, no crackling. Only happens with the Sennheiser PC360

Hi Gastec - These appear an expensive item, and as such one would expect suberb performance from day one fo r along time.

If I understand you correctly, prior to August they worked without problem, since then you hear crackling at *ALL* times you are using.

Have they been subject to excessive volume, which may have caused damage?

Have you tried disconnecting and re-connecting? (different port?)

Are you able to try on a different pc, in another location?

If crackling still present, suggest returning to manufacturer soonest as only six month sold.

Please advise back on progress.

As a matter of interest, where are you located? I am in Hammersmith, West London.

Good Luck - Keep us posted.

Sorry for taking so long to reply, was tied up with work.
I've tested the Sennheiser PC 360 on another PC with Windows XP ( the first PC has Windows 7), on the same YouTube video with music (Oasis live in Argentina) and the distortion is present. But guess what? I can hear the same distortion on the desktop speakers. On both computers I tested with 3 different internet browser, the same. Then I went to another video and that runs smoothly. So I guess it's either a problem with Flash Player, or more likely with that YouTube video and same with the others.
He are the links to the videos.
Not distorted :

PS: I'm in Alava, Spain
