CPU fan accelerates too much

August 31, 2011 at 05:39:52
Specs: Windows 7
I just got back my power source from service - they say it works just fine now. So, when I start the PC everything seems to be normal for a few seconds, but after that I can hear the CPU fan accelerating so much that the noise is really strong. Looks like the cooler gets too much electricity (my knowledge is VERY limited) so, please advice.

CPU fans usually speed up because the CPU is getting too hot, not because they are getting too much electricity.

Check you CPU temperatures.
