Specs: Windows 8.1 64bit, 3 GHz / 2047 MB
Cordless Logitech mouse does not work after Win 8.1 wake up. Strange, moving the mouse will wake up the PC but mouse pointer is not present. Re boot brings mouse pointer back.

Use a wired mouse, or don't put computer to sleep.

You might check under the power options (advance) in control panel and see what "sleep mode" entails, some shut off the usb ports.

To err is human but to really screw things up, you need a computer!
