Specs: Windows Vista, 2.8Ghz PC- 2GB
I have a PC with installed software including OS(Vista) and other programs.

But i no longer has some of the other programs, to re-install onto another hard drive.

Is it possible to copy all data from the one HDD, to another HDD, without having to install each program?

I want to transfer from a IDE to a SATA drive.

You can also check the SATA drive manufacturer's site for cloning software. I think most use Acronis now.

You're not really green until you're soylent green.
