converting 500gb hdd from ntfs to fat32

Specs: Windows 7 service pack 1, AMD turion(tm)64mobile technologyML-32 1.80GHz / 1.00gig
i mistakenly formatted my Sam sung 500GB from fat to ntfs. with this i couldn't use it with my home theater again, so i want to convert it back from net to fat .thanks

As far as I know the only way is to delete the partition (with anything on it) and create a new partition, then format it to Fat32.

You have to be a little bit crazy to keep you from going insane.

It is not a mistake to format it in ntfs. Why not keep it that way?

There is some add on program that claims to do that. I'd be careful.

It may be possible to shrink partition and create a new one to move files then delete the remaining partition and expand fat.

1/3 of highway deaths are caused by drunks. The rest are by people who can't drive any better than a drunk.
