|After much use, my computer started slowing down (as expected with all the crap I installed). So, I reinstalled windows (after wiping the drive clean), but it still continued to be excruciatingly slow. When I first built the computer, it would take 1-2 min to boot XP. Now? 10 minutes! I installed an antivirus to be sure it was not a virus i had on a file on a separate drive, yet i have foud nothing.|
I'm suspecting it's a hardware issue, yet i can't figure out what it could be!
(oh, it may be worth mentioning that it has become very difficult to listen to iTunes, since every time the computer access the HDD - which is often, even when not doing anything - the music slows down and sounds distorted).
