My Computer Randomly Shuts Down! I tried Replacing ram and it didn't do the trick, i reinstalled windows, so it's probably a hardware issue. It happens very randomly, sometimes i'm just surfing the web. Also, some programs just shut off and display an error message. When I am Playing World Of Warcraft it just turns off and displays and error message. Can Anyone Help? i have been thinking about taking it to a professional and having them check it, but i want a second oppinion, or if i can do it at home
Check to see if the bios shows your machine's temperatures. If not, you can use a program like 'Speedfan' to display/check them. Your box might need a cleaning. If so, use a can of compressed air, not a vacuum cleaner. Don't forget about the power supply, make sure that there is good airflow through it.
I Put A big fan up to it and it's cooling it down and i haven't had any errors, i haven't tried WoW yet. On speed fan it says 42c and i just have up 3 tabs in the internet browser up and window's media player up right now
