My computer powers up fine but i have no video. All fans work, powersupply is good . I've tried unhooking everything but leaving one stick of ram and the keyboard, at first it worked for about 30 seconds and then while on the bios screen the display became unreadable . Then i changed sticks of ram and this time i put it in the other ram slot, it did it again but this time it took longer for the screen to go " FUZZY ". Best way i can discribe it . Theres still a picture on the display but it's unreadable . Is this my onboard graphics going bad ?

Could someone please help me . I'm lost very badly .

I did everything " RICHARD59 " SAID TO DO . ( With power disconnected, unplug all power and data cables from harddisk drives and optic drives. Remove any PCI cards, Remove all but 1 stick of ram. Leave only motherboard, CPU with Heatsink fan, Graphics card, 1 stick of ram and keyboard. Reconnect power and see if it will boot into bios and give any POST beeps. )..But still my display wen fuzzy like .

if the computer boots all the way up otherwise, but display only is bad, i would borrow or otherwise attempt to procure
a video card, slot it in and try that, then if that doesn't work try another monitor. if you have not already done these things.
sounds like straight-up video problem to me.

Hello all, thanks very much for everyones reply and help . Well , " nbrane " your the winner . It was the onboard graphics that went bad . I went into the BIOS and changed the video settings from AGP to PCI and then put a pci graphics card in, formatted her and she's running fine now .

I WANT TO THANK EVERYONE FOR THEIR HELP AND REPLYS . YOU ALL ARE GREAT.....:>)
