I recently built a computer with an asus M4A87TD/USB3.0 motherboard and everything works great, but after putting the computer to sleep or hibernating I cant get the computer wake back up without turning off the powersupply. This issue really frustrates me because I like hibernate my computer before i go to sleep.
Hibernate is a feature meant for mobile devices, laptops, etc, not desktops. Why wouldn't you just turn off your PC before going to bed? If you insist on leaving it on, disable both hibernate & standby, then tweak your power settings.
I'm having the exact same problem with the exact same motherboard. I wanted to leave my computer on for a while whilst it downloaded something, upon my return the computer had entered hibernate/sleep mode and would not turn back on unless I unplugged/replugged my computer. Very annoying. Any thoughts?
