Hi. Computer Monitor goes black for a second and then comes back. Any solutions or any guide on what to check?

update your video driver if you havnt already

also the new rx 5000 series cards form AMD have some issues atm, the new Adrenalin 2020 Edition 20.4.1 Optional fixes that for amd cards

If possible swap in another monitor. That way you can determine if it's a monitor or computer/driver issue.

In what context does it do that ?

Mine did when the GPU overheated, but then it remained black. And the sound continued (because the software just may go on, it only can't display anything).

I'm 99.99% sure it isn't the monitor. I had the same problem for years with my last PC running Vista OS. Replaced the PC with a new one running Windows 10, but kept the LG monitor that would flash to black. Connected using same cable as before. No more flash to black observed.
