Computer keeps beeping when I turned it on

Specs: Windows Vista
My computer keeps beeping when I turned it on. I tried cleaning it's dust off but it still beeps. Sometimes it starts up without beeping but in a couple of minutes it will freeze and i have to reboot it. Then when i turn it back on it beeps or it turns itself back on and in a couple of minutes it freezes and it keeps going on and on. It's not the mouse or the keyboard, I have a security program so there isn't a virus. What could it be then? Is it something with my RAM, Motherboard or Hardrive? Is it overheating??
How can I check the temperatures? with a thermometer :D ?? Should I buy a fan ??? I read a couple of stories similar to mine and people say to take off the RAM and clean it. I'm don't even know where the RAM is located? and How should i clean it? With what?

Please Help

Overheating. Check your temperatures.

You check the temp readings in the BIOS. Usually listed under the "PC Health" menu. The most common key that will get you into the BIOS setup program is Del, but there are other possibilities...F1, F2, F10 are common for OEM systems. Try tapping the Del key immediately during bootup.
