What specks? Compaq went through all of the tests possible, for 4 hours, and they all passed. As I think I said before, when I brought my computer to my parent's house my computer didn't work either. Compaq said that it's Verizon's high speed wireless router. Verizon did a test on my computer and it still wouldn't go on either. By deduction I still say it's the router, and Verizon won't send anyone out to check. Whe I got home my computer had a signal.

Okay I think I may be confused here. Is the computer turning off or are you just not able to get online? The router not working will not keep your computer from running you just won't be able to surf the web.

Based on the "computer goes on for a few seconds then turns off, keeps" alone all we can do is ask more questions.

1- Start over and explain the problem better.
2- The 'tech support' by Compaq and Verizon are just people who have a loose leaf binder in front of them and are following diagrams and flow charts and mapped out procedures in order to diagnose the problem. The real tech person who wrote the manual you will never talk to, so do not assume that they have all of the answers. You came here because that did not work....
3- You can include the tests that they did so far and the results since that will save going over everything again.

You have to be a little bit crazy to keep you from going insane.
