Compaq 610 laptop dedicated video memory problem

Specs: win7 32-bit, intel pentium dual core...3gb ram
Please help...I use hp compaq 610 my dedicated video memory used to be 64mb and my system video memory was 0. But now my dedicated memory is 0 and the sys memory is 64mb

Where are you getting those figures from?

The Compaq 610 laptop's video adapter does not have any dedicated memory as it "shares" memory with the system (using the same RAM).

In the BIOS, you can configure the amount the RAM that is assigned to the video adapter, up to a maximum of 384MB.

If the figures keep changing erratically, you may have bad RAM modules that need changing.

my friend laptops never have dedicated video memory, this memory u call dedicated comes from ur system ram and therefore u get dedicated memory (system video memory) try changing it in bios if it did not work then u have ram issues

Mine uses intel graphics media accelerator on GMA X3100...(Intel)
Total available graphics memory is 358 mb
Dedicated video memory is 0 mb
System video memory is 64mb
Shared system memory is 294mb....before this problem my dedicated video memory was 64mb while the system video memory was 0mb...I can't even play burnout anymore cuz It crashes
