Specs: Windows XP
hi,

Earlier there was error on bootup:

CMOS checksum bad
F1 to run setup
F2 to load default values

on pressing F2 (which i usually do), pc boot with jan 01, 2002 0000 hrs. I use to change date/time by timeclock at right down cornor

Now, it is giving error
CMOS checksum bad
No Keyboard detected
F1 to run setup
F2 to load default values

Since no keyboard is detected, i can not proceed. I tried with alternate Keyboard and also replace CMOS battery with new one. but all invain.

Kindly assist.

Is it a USB keyboard? If it is do you have a PS2 keyboard you could try instead? You did the right thing in changing the CMOS battery as that's what caused your original problem.
