Solved Clean installation failure

Specs: Win XP
Hello there,
I did clean installation in a desktop but Installation hanged and could not go forward. 33 minutes were left to complete. I waited for an hour hoping it would run again. I had no choice but to shut down.

Booting from DVD is now inoperable. To be honest, System is dead. No booting and No signal on the monitor. Is there any workaround to get it right????

Your help would be appreciated. Thank you.

"No booting and No signal on the monitor"

You have a hardware problem, not a software problem.

If you are getting no signal to the monitor then it is a hardware fault so you need to find which part of the system has failed - check that all cards/memory etc. are firmly seated. If there are no fans/lights then your power supply needs checking - swapping out for a known working one is the easiest option.

Thanks for your help. I will check it tomorrow, Just to let you know that the existing OS (Win XP) I had with my desktop has been wiped out with quick format and the OS (Win XP) being installed has gone half way through.

Anyway, I will check it tom and let you know what the problem was. Thanks again for your help
