chip on top coating of DVD disc and need help

Specs: Windows Vista
i have a dvd that has a chip on the coating (image/printed side). will this affect the quality of my dvd. i played it the whole way through once but its a blu ray and i havent gotten to every feature on the dvd. its new so i still have time to return it. am i being ocd or is will this cause my problems in the future ( more of the image crack away). thanx

The information is on the underneath part of the cd. Unlikely the seller will replace it.

The data is printed on the underside of the top coating/label. If the underside of the disk gets scratched, it's no big deal because it can usually be polished out, but if the top gets scratched, the disk is usually ruined.

I would try to get a replacement disk.
