Specs: Windows XP
I HAVE AN IBM MACHAINE WITH THE FOLLOWING SPECIFICATIONS:IBM NVKT58AUS
SM BIOS VERSION 6892890
I WANT TO CHANGE THE BIOS LANGUAGE FROM DUTCH TO ENGLISH.I WILL BE HAPPY IF YOU CAN HELP ME .

you`ll need to re-flash your BIOS with the English version...please post the BIOS model...

...please try to reset the BIOS to it`s defaults first...

please remove your e-mail address unless you are a SPAM fan...

...and please stop shouting ( turn off Caps Lock )....

First of all typing in all caps is considered shouting and is rude.

The only way to change the language displayed in the BIOS screens is to flash the BIOS with a version that is written in the desired language. Or to actually change the BIOS chip with on that is written in the desired language. There are aftermarket companies that sell BIOS chips.

Look at the link below to determine if such a file is even available. If you do find a BIOS file be sure it is for your EXACT computer, including motherboard version. Then be sure to get the correct flash utility as well as the BIOS file itself.

Flashing a BIOS is risky. Things can go wrong and render the computer useless.

I *think* this is the particular pc:

It seems that 6892-890 is the model number and NVKT58AUS is the bios version(rather than the other way round).
